GO How to Use

Stacey became an attorney after graduating from Northern Kentucky University, where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree and then University of Kentucky Law School.  Stacey did not attend college immediately after high school.  He worked for one year in construction, where he learned what it was like to work every day with heavy equipment and hard work from sun up to sundown.  He also learned that he despised working in the cold weather, so he began taking college courses—the rest, of course, is history.

Stacey and his assistant are very good about getting back to clients.  Whether it be via e-mail or telephone calls, Stacey tries to return any communication from a client within twenty-four (24) hours.  Most often, he will return an e-mail or telephone call the same day. With Adams Law, PLLC Stacey enjoys working with clients, arguing on behalf of them, and helping them navigate the difficult legal situations they are facing.

Outside the office, Stacey is passionate about his work on the City Council in Alexandria, and Stacey serves as the Chairman of the Finance Committee.  Stacey is also a Board Member of Care Mission in Alexandria. The Care Mission serves community members who have needs at certain times, most of the needs are food-related, but others also require assistance with clothing or other items.

Stacey enjoys spending time with his wife and three children in his spare time, playing almost any type of sport, watching almost any type of sport, and the occasional craft beer or bourbon.  He is passionate about his work and passionate about those things he cares about the most.

Stacey L. Graus has represented thousands of parties in divorce and custody matters. He has handled domestic relations cases throughout Kentucky and Southwestern Ohio. Each court is different so it takes special insight to determine what a particular court is looking for as it pertains to custody or the distribution of assets. Stacey Graus is someone who understands all aspects of domestic relations matters.

Mr. Graus has taken numerous cases to trial and has obtained favorable custody verdicts for many of his clients. He has often found that a negotiated resolution is the best option for his clients. A negotiated resolution allows his clients to have more control over the arrangement and ultimately their life. It takes the decision-making out of the hands of a third party who may be telling them when they are going to have their child and how they are going to raise them. In addition, it also removes the decision-making authority of a third party who can tell them what assets they get to keep and what debts they have to pay. Thus, mediation becomes an effective tool to resolve complicated domestic matters. As stated, I have mediated over hundreds of cases with a very high success rate at mediation
