Casmir is an associate attorney practicing primarily in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group and Government Practice Group. In his current role with Adams, Casmir primarily focuses on claims involving local government defense, municipal liability, and a variety of other civil litigation matters. He also provides contract review and general advising services for local businesses, cities, and governmental entities.

Prior to joining Adams, Casmir clerked at the Boone County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office where he managed the Probation Revocation docket and represented the Commonwealth in hundreds of bond and probation revocation hearings. While in school, Casmir also worked at a Business Immigration firm and externed with United States District Judge William Bertelsman of the Eastern District of Kentucky.

Casmir is a native of Northern Kentucky having grown up in Villa Hills, where he attended Dixie Heights High School. He then graduated from the University of Cincinnati Lindner College of Business in 2020 with honors. While at Lindner, he had the opportunity to work for multiple prominent regional brands, including GE Aviation, American Modern Insurance Group, and Icon Commerce. Casmir continued his education at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, graduating Cum Laude in 2023. He is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio and, in Kentucky, he is temporarily authorized to practice pending admission to the Kentucky Bar Association.

Passionate about the community, Casmir is a Trustee of the Behringer-Crawford Museum in Covington, Ky, and actively volunteers with local professional and political groups. In his spare time, Casmir can often be found catching a movie at Newport on the Levee with his wife, attending community events, or passionately explaining the benefits of living in NKY.

Casmir is a resident of Dayton, Kentucky, where he currently lives with his wife, Ana Sofia, and their dog, Merlin.

Casmir handles all levels of litigation from the initial filing of a lawsuit and discovery process, through motions for summary judgment, to settlement and trial. After working for a federal district judge, Casmir understands the ins and outs of complex litigation from various perspectives of the legal system. He is experienced in both plaintiffs’ cases and defense work. Casmir works closely with his clients to provide input, guidance, and support throughout the legal process.
