Jeffrey C. Mando is a premier, experienced government litigation attorney, Jeff aggressively defends state and local governments in high-profile litigation cases, including officer involved shootings, police pursuits and in custody death cases. He is counsel of record in numerous published opinions on qualified immunity, use of force, police pursuits and other 42 U.S.C. § 1983 claims. A veteran trial attorney, Jeff has tried over 85 cases to a jury and participated in over 60 appellate oral arguments.

For over 37 years, Jeff has guided clients through complex litigation. He is the preferred counsel for regional companies involved in sophisticated litigation in state and federal courts in Kentucky and Ohio. He argues cases regularly before all Kentucky and Ohio appellate courts and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is counsel of record in over 80 reported cases.
In addition, he has served as national counsel to a medical device manufacturer and defended the company in product liability and coverage actions across the country.
Jeff also represents the Kentucky Judicial Conduct Commission and served as a Special Justice in the Kentucky Supreme Court, writing the Court’s opinion in a coming of age medical malpractice case.
In 2018 Kentucky Defense Council recognized Jeff as Defense Counsel of the Year. He has also been recognized annually as a Cincinnati Leading Lawyer, a Super Lawyer and by Best Lawyers.
