Joey Hill is an Associate Attorney at Adams Law, PLLC. Joining the firm in 2021, Joey is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group and will primarily focus on civil rights and government practice, criminal defense, and a variety of other miscellaneous matters. He will also provide contract review and general advising services for local businesses, cities, and governmental entities.
Joey attended and graduated from the University of Louisville in 2013 with a BA degree; he then graduated from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law with a JD degree in 2016, where he served as Student Body Vice President. Prior to joining Adams Law, Joey worked the last 4 years as an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney in Kenton County, Kentucky. In this role, he prosecuted felonies of all levels in Kenton County, and he handled a high-volume caseload, including trials, hearings, and other court proceedings in Kenton County Circuit Court.
Passionate about the community’s health and safety, Joey actively volunteers as a firefighter with the Fort Mitchell Fire Department. He also serves as the Treasurer on the executive board of Transitions, Inc, a local drug rehabilitation organization. In his spare time, Joey can often be found attending local community events, exercising, and spending time with family and friends. Joey is a resident of Kenton County, where he currently lives with his wife, Bethanni, and their dog, Rosie.
As a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group, Joey Hill represents businesses and individuals involved in a wide range of complex litigation matters such as civil rights, business torts and contracts, and criminal defense.
Joey handles all levels of litigation from the initial filing of a lawsuit and discovery process, through motions for summary judgment, to settlement and trial. After practicing in the Kenton County circuit court for 4 years, Joey understands the ins and outs of complex litigation from various perspectives of the legal system. Joey works closely with her clients to provide input, guidance, and support throughout the legal process.
