COVINGTON, KY – Adams Law, PLLC is pleased to announce that Olivia F. Amlung has been named a Member of the firm effective January 1, 2025.

Admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 2017, Olivia began her practice with the firm focusing on claims involving general litigation, insurance defense, government practice, and school law. Taking a brief sabbatical from private practice, Olivia served the Commonwealth for a year as an Assistant Attorney General in the Kentucky Attorney General’s Office of Civil and Environmental Law from June 2021 to June 2022. After returning to Adams Law to resume her local government practice, she has taken the unique knowledge learned at the KYOAG to further improve the depth and breadth of the advising services she offers to local governmental entities. In her current role with Adams, Olivia is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, primarily focusing on claims involving local government defense, municipal liability, civil rights, school and special education law, and a variety of other complex civil litigation matters. Throughout her career, Olivia has successfully litigated numerous cases in state and federal court, as well as administrative tribunals. She also provides day-to-day contract review and general advising services for cities, counties, school districts, and quasi-governmental entities to help her clients navigate the complex issues faced by local governments.

After receiving her B.A. degree in Psychology from the University of Louisville (cum laude), Olivia graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Law with a J.D. in 2016. She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the State of Ohio, along with their respective federal courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Olivia is thrilled to become the newest Member of Adams Law, PLLC.
