Last week, Claire E. Parsons was presented with Legacy’s Next Generation Leader Award in the Business, Financial, and Legal Services Category.  The Next Generation Leader Awards are designed to salute the region’s young professionals under the age of 40 for significant accomplishments in their chosen professional field, demonstrated leadership, as well as their contribution to the community.  Nominees are judged by a panel of community leaders and experts in each of 10 distinct categories. Judges select three finalists in each category.  Recognition of our finalists and the announcement of the winner in each category take place at the annual NGLA program and dinner which occurred on July 16.  A list of the 2015 NGLA winner is available here.

This award came hot on the heels of another honor that was recently presented to Claire.  In April, Claire was named as one of two Emerging Leaders at the Outstanding Women of Northern Kentucky luncheon.  The Outstanding Women of NKY celebrate women who have demonstrated leadership in their home, their profession, or in their community.  The women represent the great diversity and extraordinary accomplishments of today’s women. All of the honorees represent ideal role models for the young women who follow in their footsteps.  On occasion, the panel of judges may choose to honor younger women leaders in the community as an Emerging Leader.  Information about Claire and all of the honorees at the 2015 luncheon is available here.
