Adams, Stepner, Woltermann & Dusing, PLLC Attorneys, Mary Ann Stewart and Jennifer Langen were victorious at the Kentucky Court of Appeals in Robinson, et. al., v. Kenton County Detention Center, et. al., Case No. 2011-CA-001095-MR.   In a unanimous decision rendered on February 15, 2013, the  Kentucky Court of Appeals  adopted Ms. Stewart’s and Ms. Langen’s arguments refuting the plaintiffs’ claims of negligent hiring and retention asserted against the Jailer and other administrative officials of the Kenton County Detention Center.  Furthermore the Court agreed with Ms. Stewart’s and Ms. Langen’s application of the doctrine of qualified, official immunity.
