Claire E. Parsons, a member of Adams, Stepner, Woltermann & Dusing’s, school law, civil litigation, and local government practice groups, was elevated to President of Kentucky Defense Counsel, Inc. at the Fall Seminar and Annual Meeting on November 15, 2019. Kentucky Defense Counsel, Inc. is a state-level defense organization affiliated with the national organization, DRI. The mission of both organizations is to provide support, community, and professional development opportunities for members of the defense bar. Claire has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2014. Prior to being elevated to President, Claire served in the roles of Secretary-Treasurer, Vice-President, and President-Elect. Claire is pictured here presenting fellow member, Beth Lochmiller, with an award she received at the DRI Annual Meeting for her outstanding service as a state representative for Kentucky. Claire looks forward to her role as President and hopes to expand the role of Kentucky Defense Counsel, Inc. throughout the state, and to develop initiatives to promote diversity and young lawyers within the organization.
