Adams, Stepner, Woltermann & Dusing, PLLC attorneys, Jeff Mando and Jennifer Langen, achieved two recent victories at the Kentucky Court of Appeals in Coppage Construction Company, Inc. v. Sanitation District No. 1, Case No. 2011-CA-000121-MR, and Sanitation District No. 1 v. McCord et al, Case No. 2011-CA-000819-MR.  In two separate unanimous decisions, both rendered on January 25, 2013, the Court of Appeals adopted Mr. Mando’s and Ms. Langen’s arguments that sanitation districts formed pursuant to KRS Chapter 220 are entitled to sovereign immunity from liability for negligence.
