Jacob R. Blankenship joined the law firm in the fall of 2020 as an associate attorney. Jacob practices in civil litigation, local government representation and transactional matters.
Jacob grew up in Paducah, Kentucky. He attended and graduated from the University of Louisville in 2016 with a B.S. in Business Administration with honors, majoring in Finance. During this time, he studied at the Audencia Business School in Nantes, France focusing on European finance. Jacob then attended law school at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he received the George A. Dornette Professional Responsibility/Legal Ethics award. Jacob clerked for the law firm for two years while attending law school. He graduated in 2020. Jacob resides in Covington, Kentucky.
As a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group, Jacob Blankenship represents firm business clients and individuals in complex litigation, personal injury, product liability and negligence matters in both state and federal court and before administrative panels. He is experienced in all levels of litigation from the initial filing of a lawsuit and discovery, through motions for summary judgment, to trial.
